Definition:

An accessible opening in the drainage system used for the removal of possible obstructions.

 

You should see cleanout plugs ( 3 or 4 inch square head plugs) strategically placed depending on the engineering of the piping system.

 

Without cleanouts, how will you clear obstructions?
